Isabel Meza-Roquebert

Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, Isabel Meza-Roquebert always knew she’d be a writer. Her penchant for daydreaming in class lead her to put pen to paper, drafting up satirical takes on the world surrounding her, even basing characters on her friends and family (unbeknownst to them, but they’d probably think it’s funny, right?). Nowadays, her writing focuses on the cross section of coming-of-age narratives and social critique, using her real-life experiences as a queer Latina to color her work.

Most recently Isabel has worked as a Writers’ Production Assistant in a development room for Amazon, having the privilege of learning from writers who have all lead their own rooms. She is currently seeking Writers’ Assistant opportunities in the comedy and animation spaces.
