We want to inform you that the building and WGF Library will be closed during the Writers Guild Staff Union strike. At this time, Foundation services will continue remotely. Our librarians are available should you have any questions about scripts and resources.

The Writers Guild Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, independent from the Writers Guild of America West.

Every visitor must make an appointment in advance to visit the library. Please review our Library Policy before making an appointment. Our Library is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11am-6pm and on Thursdays from 11am-8pm.

• Select the date you want, and then the 11:00AM button. Appointment duration is for an entire day and you can arrive anytime during our open hours on the day of your appointment. Same-day appointments must be made before we open at 11am.

• Specify reading selections in advance based on what’s in our catalog (if applicable).

• Visitors must show ID to security upon entering the building.

• If it’s your first visit, welcome! We will explain how it works and can answer questions.

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know in advance through the link in your confirmation email or by phone or appointments@wgfoundation.org so we can give your spot to someone else.

• We close for all major holidays and the last week of December. Hours occasionally change due to special events. These days are unavailable (greyed out) on the calendar.

Please include a preferred name and the name on your ID if they are different.
