Tiffany McDonald
Tiffany McDonald is an LA-based Jamaican writer who nimbly eluded her family’s unspoken expectation to become a surgeon like her father and instead pursued her dreams. She is a graduate of The Peter Stark Producing Program at USC and the WGF Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program and has gained extensive experience working in film/TV development at production companies on films such as BRITTANY RUNS A MARATHON and COMPANION. She was a Conservation Research Assistant in the Peruvian Amazon for a brief stint, has a deep curiosity about space, and possesses an unshakeable love of karate. Tiffany has a unique point of view from living in Jamaica, Canada, and Scotland, and enjoys injecting her life experience into writing about otherness, outcasts and underdogs. She got into medical school and didn’t go, and on occasion her parents still suggest it’s not too late to become a doctor.
