Stephanie Leke

Stephanie Leke is a writer, producer, and singer originally from Massachusetts. The daughter of Cameroonian immigrants, she grew up toggling between opposing cultures. It was through music that she began her writing journey, finding community within the local punk and hardcore music scene. Stephanie writes female-driven stories often centering Black women existing in spaces they’re traditionally erased from. In 2023, she was accepted into the Writers Guild Foundation’s Writers' Access Support Staff Training Program and was a finalist for Color Creative's Find Your People Program. Currently working in nonfiction, her credits include Mary J. Blige’s My Life (Amazon Studios), Harry & Meghan (Netflix), and the Pharrell Williams Lego biopic, Piece by Piece.
