Sherin Shetty

Being a writer & performer has been a lifelong dream: at 16, I got an internship on the first Avengers film, while earning my B.A. in Film, I worked full time as a Set P.A.; I worked 4 days a week on set for a min. 12 hours & then had 9 hours of classes on day 5. After that, I became eligible for the DGA and pivoted to working as a freelance assistant to focus more on my writing and acting. During this time, I got theatrical rep. and was cast on shows like The Flight Attendant, Billions, & more; my writing & improv. training proved their invaluableness right away. Later, I was selected out of 1200+ candidates for the Writer's Guild Foundation Writer's Support Staff Training Program where showrunners like Mike Schur were advisors. I'm currently working as an assistant to Amber Ruffin & Jenny Hagel under their Universal deal, & I'm still auditioning & submitting to Coverfly competitions.
