Lynn Maleh

 
 

Called "up-and-coming" by the LA Times, Lynn Maleh is a Syrian-American writer and stand-up comedian whose last name means salty, which she is. She was recently selected as one of four writers for the Sony Pictures Television Diverse Writers Program. Previously, she worked as the Writers' Assistant on Netflix's Waffles + Mochi featuring Michelle Obama and Bounce TV's Act Your Age, on which she co-wrote an episode. Her words have appeared in Reductress, The Onion, and McSweeney's, and she's performed on Netflix Is A Joke Fest, New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and a few times in Brad Pitt's old backyard. She is 1/2 of CleoPODtra, a comedy podcast exploring the first-generation experience, which was featured in NPR and named “New & Noteworthy” by Apple Podcasts. She co-created Hilarious Habibis, the Hollywood Improv's first standup show featuring Middle Eastern comics.
