Luna Vasquez

Luna Vasquez is a queer, nonbinary Salvadoran American born and raised in southwest side of Houston, Texas by two poor, no-nonsense immigrant parents. After wearing many different hats through the job market in search for the perfect fit (read: financial stability), Luna realized the only way they were gonna make it through this life was to somehow get paid to be queer and funny.

Luna has been a mentee for Women In Animation's series development mentorship circle, placed as a quarter finalist in ScreenCraft’s Screenwriting Fellowship, and most recently worked as a script reader for Austin Film Festival. Their current goal is to write for television animation.
