Asia Gamble
Asia “A.R.” Gamble is a Black female drama/dramedy writer, born and raised in Los Angeles.
After earning her BA in theater with a focus on acting, Asia went on to work as an Executive Assistant in development and management, studied TV writing with Sundance Collab, and recently graduated from the 2025 Writers Guild Foundation's Writers’ Access Support Staff Training Program.
Although there are some genres that she is more drawn to, Asia wants to be a writer who can create a little bit of everything. She wants to tell human stories that people from all backgrounds can relate to. What does unify her writing, no matter the genre or format, is that the narratives will always be told through the lens of Black female leads so that the next generation of young Black girls can feel seen the same way she did the first time she saw someone that looked like her on her TV screen.

Half Hour Single Cam Dramedy
An adult coming-of-age dramedy that follows a 20-something Black woman on a spiritual journey to find herself after her grandmother's death. In that awkward phase of adulthood where she should already have her life together with no idea how to get there. She’s trying her best just to “be.”
