Veena Sud’s fascination with dark, edgy female characters led her to executive produce the hit CBS crime drama COLD CASE as well as develop the popular Danish series FORBRYDELSEN into THE KILLING for AMC and then Netflix. The series, which followed the murder investigation of a Seattle teenager through the eyes of a female detective, earned Emmy, Golden Globe and Writers Guild Award nominations.

In this intimate Master Class, Sud shares her experiences writing within the genre, developing an international series for American audiences, and navigating a series from traditional cable networks to new online platforms.
