Written by Richard Curtis
Note that Richard Curtis tends to CAPITALIZE the descriptions in his scripts. After the first card that Mark holds up to Juliet, the text on each new card is formatted almost like a new line of dialogue. It’s an easy way to process and visualize the information on each card.
It’s especially helpful to compare these cards to the way Bob Dylan holds up cards in Don’t Look Back. Immediately, as the reader, you know exactly what this is supposed to look like on screen.
