Manda K. Skelton
Manda K. Skelton is a veteran and TV drama writer who knew that no matter what she did in her life, there would always be magic. Whether it was growing up in small-town 'yoga is devil worship' Texas or sneaking banned Harry Potter books into her local library, she writes about characters trying to find their place in the world (and dabbles in Harry Potter fanfiction).
She recently received her MFA from USC in Screenwriting (Go Trojans!) but couldn't initially afford it. So, she sold her soul to the US Navy as a Damage Controlman (a fancy name for Firefighter) and served on an aircraft carrier. She completed an around-the-world deployment before watching bombs fall out of the sky and witnessing a sandstorm across the ocean.
She is a Writers' Access Support Staff Training Program Graduate and stays connected with her industry mentor, Stacy McKee (Creator of Station 19, EP Grey's Anatomy).
