Jess Morse

Jess is a comedy writer with a focus on animation for teens and adults. She studied Writing for Film and Television at Emerson College, placed as a semifinalist in the Universal Animation Writers Program, and won the Pitch Fest pitching competition for her comedy pilot How to Be Asian. Jess's time circling the TV industry has resulted in an unconventional career, including shooting BuzzFeed videos, fighting internet Nazis, censoring pornographic comic books, and running the official South Park escape room (which still owes her $1,800). In 2018, Jess published a 200-page anthology of bad fan fiction, aptly titled Bad Fan Fiction. Her comedy marries the most absurd parts of real life with the most obscure pop culture references. During the 2023 WGA and SAG strikes, Jess founded and operated the Pizza Strike Fund, which delivered over 3000 pizzas to picket lines across LA.
