Cristina Gonzalez Cibrian

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Cristina Cibrian comes from a big Mexican-American & Cuban family. Although they would rather her become a doctor at the hospital down the street, (“aye, mijita, Hollywood?!”), Cristina is passionate about writing Latinx character’s reflective of the one’s she knows and loves. Thus, she ventured out to Los Angeles and graduated with honors from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a BA in Cinema & Media Studies. Cristina began her career as the writers' production assistant on the second season of Annie Weisman's, Physical (Apple TV+) and Rachel Caris Love's, Invitation To A Bonfire (AMC). Most recently, she worked for showrunner/creator, Ilana Peña, who has quickly become one of her mentors. Cristina has an original pilot in development with CBS Studios, along with another project at Marsai Martin’s Genius Productions.
