Chloe Samillano

 
 

Chloe Samillano is a Manila-born, Riverside-raised queer writer (and occasional filmmaker). They graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Cinema. She has received opportunities from ARRAY, The Writers Guild Foundation, BAVC Media, The Queer 26, and Lambda Literary, and was mentored by Samantha Militante (Reservation Dogs) through Unlock Her Potential.

Professionally, they currently work at WIF (Women in Film), and previously worked at Humanitas, Everytown for Gun Safety, and Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity. Her background in social impact informs her stories about ambitious people navigating their dreams and relationships within systemic injustices.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, practicing mindfulness, and learning about abolitionist teaching. In all that she does, Chloe is passionate about creating more liberatory ways of living and connecting.
