Catherine Oyster

Catherine Oyster is a script coordinator with credits on AGBO's action series EXTRACTION and teen action thriller OUTER BANKS; ducking and weaving through script changes and rewrites, and speedily firing out distributions.

Catherine is also a story producer on pretty much every baking competition series in America. When she's not inhaling footage of Swiss buttercream and sobbing bakers; Catherine writes drama. Her choice of subject matter is like her choice of chocolate, dark. She explores themes of oppression and moral conundrums, most recently in her sci-fi novelette THE HOSTESS that she is adapting for the screen. Her dream shows to write on include FOUNDATION, WHITE LOTUS, HANDMAID'S TALE, and MAD MEN.

While at UCLA, Catherine made the short film I STOLE THE VIRGIN which was later featured on PBS. Mom to a toddler, she passes along her Japanese heritage through song and story.
