Alex Cheng
Alex Cheng is an Asian American writer, comedian, radio producer, and filmmaker from Minnesota. He’s drawn to the stories of his family and friends, many of whom are also Asians navigating life in the U.S. He also likes stupid jokes. Alex writes and performs comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York on shows like Asian AF, Harold Night, and Characters Welcome. He has also performed at the Kennedy Center and at festivals across the country. During the day, he produces and reports for NPR, and he has previously worked as a copywriter and editor. He received his BA from Stanford University, where he completed the Hoffs-Roach Tutorial in screenwriting.
