Cathy Torres
Cathy is a scuba diving, highly caffeinated, pretzel-slinging international flight attendant and Baylor University graduate. Watching sitcoms and playing tennis helped Cathy escape the monotony of growing up in a small East Texas town. At 18, she packed up and enlisted in the USMC after watching Full Metal Jacket one time. Cathy is driven to write unforgettable female characters who knock over barriers and redefine their purpose, one hilariously bad life decision at a time. She has worked as a SET PA on the HBO Series BARRY and was recently selected for the 2024 Writers Guild Foundation Veteran Fellowship.
