Caroline Hoover
she/her
Caroline Hoover is a neurodivergent mother, writer, and feminist with an MFA from USC who has worked in Development for HBO Films. She made the Pitch Competition Finals at Austin FF and has been a Stowe Story Labs fellow and a Nicholl QF (twice). She uses her irreverent sense of humor to craft grounded dramedies about furious, funny, fucked-up women who are told they are “too much” but discover that in fact it is the world that’s not enough. Her head is chock full of movie quotes and song lyrics, but she tries to blurt them out only when it’s appropriate.

Chase Finney
she/her
Chase Finney is a queer African American writer and actress from Pompano Beach, Florida. After spending the better part of her life aspiring to be a politician, she pivoted to storytelling during the pandemic and never looked back. Now based in LA, she currently supports inclusion efforts across NBCUniversal’s television portfolio.
She’s most compelled to write coming-of-(r)age and quarter-life crisis stories, often set against the backdrop of the same broken systems and injustices she once devoted her life to ending. She is a proud amateur chef, Just Dance aficionado, and lover of the sun.

Chris Dang
he/him
Chris Dang is a Vietnamese-American writer from Orange County, CA, who defied his immigrant parents’ wishes of wanting him to pursue the sciences and chose the next best option: TV comedy. He writes relatable, POC-led comedies about flawed characters finding their place in the world.
After graduating from UC Riverside with a degree in marketing, he worked on film and TV productions, including THE LATE SHOW, and wrote for a Sundance x TAAF fellow web series.
When he’s not writing, Chris can be found watching baseball, playing Guitar Hero (on Expert), or drowning himself in Baja Blast.

Enrique Cruz Torres

Enrique is a first-generation Mexican American drama and dramedy writer raised between Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Chihuahua, Mexico. Growing up in a Spanish speaking immigrant household, he often jokes that TV was his first friend teaching him English and American culture. While working in the New Mexico film scene, a life-changing emergency airplane landing pushed him to pursue his career in Los Angeles. Since then, he has earned credits on series for Warner Bros., Netflix, Disney, and Apple TV+, while continuing to develop his own pilots exploring the complexities of human relationships.

Francis Fuster
she/her
Francis Fuster is originally from Queens, NY, and while (on paper) she sounds like a white Jewish man, she's, in fact, Afro-Latina. Francis writes bold, funny stories with a sprinkle of clinical depression, blending themes of surrealism and magical realism. She’s worked on shows such as "Gordita Chronicles," "The Upshaws," and "The Lincoln Lawyer.”
This year, Francis was a quarter-finalist for the Black Boy Writes & Black Girl Writes Mentorship Initiative and was selected to participate in the STARZ #TakeTheLead Writers' Intensive.

Frankie Infante

Frankie Infante is a recovering emo musician turned writer and filmmaker. Growing up in LA and Orange County, his culture clash upbringing shaped his humorous yet heartbreaking stories centering on misfits, nostalgia, and the messy road to figuring it all out.
He works as a Script Supervisor and is an alum of the Hola Mexico Tomorrow's Filmmakers Fellowship. He once snagged "Best Writing" for a short about a talking condom and has earned recognition from platforms such as AT&T, PBS, Canela TV, and Screencraft. Find him at karaoke singing Fall Out Boy or watching standup at The Comedy Store.

Iman Ahmed
she/her
Iman Ahmed is a first-gen Egyptian-American and Muslim writer from NYC. She writes provocative stories about ambitious women who refuse to behave. Her pilot HARAM DOCTOR won the Hour Pilot category in the 2024 Final Draft Contest. She is developing it into a romantic comedy film. She wrote and produced the off-Broadway play BANNED. She is an alumni of the Writers’ Guild Initiative Workshop, where she was mentored by Scott Frank. Her story of being a young caregiver aired on The Moth podcast to over a million listeners. She is a Final Draft Fellow, a UCB Diversity Fellow, and a NYU graduate.

Jackson DeLoach

Jackson DeLoach is a screenwriter, skateboarder, anime head and UCLA film school graduate from Compton, CA. No matter what his day job was, writing was always his passion and he dedicated himself fully to the craft. When the 2020 pandemic brought his career to a halt, he pivoted to animation and became a PA on Young Love for HBO Max, where he also earned a freelance writer credit. Then he returned to live action and was most recently an Associate Producer on The Vince Staples Show for Netflix.

Juliette Lin

Juliette Lin is a comedy writer, k-pop enthusiast, & cancer survivor. Her sunny disposition & dimple are matched only by her love of self-help books & joy of finding humor in the chaos.
After a healing phase in NYC where she met her literal trash-loving (*non-derogatory) girlfriend, Juliette returned to LA wiser, warmer, & fully equipped to battle street rats. Previously, she's worked in learning & development, community management, & sales.
She performs stand up & sketch and will produce her comedy mockumentary this summer. Her writing explores the humanity behind people’s messy decisions.

Kenya Robinson

Kenya Robinson is an Atlanta-raised storyteller creating emotionally rich, character-driven dramas and dramedies that center marginalized voices. She studied screenwriting at Script Anatomy and UCLA Extension while working full-time in commercial banking. Kenya moved to Los Angeles in 2022 to further pursue a career in TV and film. Her writing has placed in ScreenCraft, Austin Film Festival, and Sundance Collab. She continues developing her voice through independent film projects and an online fan fiction series launched in 2022.

Lei White

Lei White is an aspiring Television and Film writer with a growing list of credits in production in both Television and Film, including Dexter: New Blood, The Walking Dead: Dead City & The Ones Who Live, and Marty Supreme. Prior to his work in Production, Lei attended SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) as a double major in Performing Arts and Film & Television, where he met one of his mentor, James Sadwith. Since graduating from SCAD, he has remained close to various productions in New York City. He is an active member of multiple writing groups and is an Omakase chef on the weekends.

Leo Laing

Leo Laing is a storyteller interested in the space between the worlds we are born into and the ones we build for ourselves. Currently working on the series Will Trent, their personal work focuses on one-hour dramas and sci-fi landscapes that center LGBTQ voices.
Leo's roots in activist and arts communities fuel the passion they bring to the various scripted shows they have assisted on. From founding a diversity centered writers' group, to serving on committees for the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, they're always working to build a bigger table. -

Maame Addae

To her African immigrant parents’ ongoing dismay, Maame Addae is a biochemical engineer turned comedy writer and producer. Hailing from Chicago, her work pokes fun at the complex human experience through riotous and awkward humor, centering people who aren’t often considered main character material. Maame is an alum of WarnerMedia Access to Action and the SOHO House x Creative Futures Collective. Her experience spans indie and studio productions, including Dick Wolf NBC shows, and sketch-writing for Amanda Seales’ Smart Funny & Black. Recently, her short film Getcho earned 13 festival laurels.

Matthew Nicholson

Matt Nicholson is a queer screenwriter who brings new twists to old myths while championing stories about family legacy. After losing his mother to Huntington’s Disease, Matt became committed to telling stories about how people survive loss without letting go of humor, hope, or heart. His work has been recognized by the Humanitas New Voices Fellowship, Shore Scripts, and Slamdance, and in 2025, he was selected for the inaugural CineStory Screenwriting Residency. He currently serves as Communications Chair on the PreRainbow Pages Board.

Rina O'Malley

Rina O’Malley came to the U.S. at the age of four as a refugee from Soviet Ukraine. Raised in an East Texas refinery town, she spent her teen years in detention writing wildly inappropriate stories, her 20s in New York’s music scene, then pivoted to private equity – producing indie films on the side and somehow managing to raise three kids. Rina writes darkly comedic, messy stories about love, identity, sex, power – and the quiet (or very loud) ways people lie to themselves in order to survive.

Shirley Yip

Shirley Yip is a trilingual Chinese American writer and director. Raised between China and Canada, Shirley found humor in the struggle of being caught between cultures. Before pursuing filmmaking, she worked in motorsports and advertising in China. She writes stories about outsiders, underdogs and overachievers. Her short film “Marriage Interview” premiered at the Reelworld Film Festival. Shirley is an alumna of the Canadian Film Centre, University of Toronto and UCLA. Mom to a toddler, she passes on her heritage through storytelling, cooking and haggling at a night market.

Victor Adame

Victor Adame is a Chicano filmmaker from Riverside, California. As a family drama writer, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting from Chapman University. He has worked with prominent companies ranging from Sundance to the Black List and has been part of industry fellowships such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Gold Rising Program and the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Series Scriptwriters Program. Now, he is a Studio Page at Paramount Pictures.

Zaelyna "Zae" Beck

As a perpetual daydreamer, it's no surprise Zaelyna Beck is drawn to writing scifi/fantasy. Zae's imagination was forged while exploring the woods around her rural New England hometown. Her stories feature offbeat characters in found-family dynamics discovering their authentic selves through small acts of courage fighting against the odds. Since moving to LA, Zae has worked on shows for Disney+, Freeform, and CBS. She currently freelances as a story analyst.
To refuel her mind, Zae enjoys cozy video games, hikes with her partner and their dogs, and touring the city via electric unicycle.
