Writers on Writing with Simon Kinberg

Simon Kinberg has an amazing career history. Trapped in a dystopian future where his kind was hunted mercilessly by killer robots, he made a risky move borne of desperation: Send his own mind back in time into his younger body, and change the future by changing the past.

No. Wait. That’s the plot of the classic X-Men story arc, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, written in 1981 by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Which Simon Kinberg ably adapted for the screen!

But that’s not all. He also wrote great action material like SHERLOCK HOLMES, MR. AND MRS. SMITH, and the upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR movie – not to mention a couple of other X-MEN movies and the upcoming animated STAR WARS series, REBELS.

He’ll be interviewed by friend of the Foundation and co-host of the Scriptnotes podcast, John August. His credits include GO, BIG FISH, FRANKENWEENIE, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and a lot more!

In addition to general admission, we’re also offering six exclusive GREEN ROOM EXPERIENCE tickets, which include an hour in the green room with Simon, an autographed script, and a guaranteed front row seat.

Panel begins at 7:30. Green Room Experience begins at 6:30.
