Ever see a movie and think to yourself: “Man, I wish I had thought of that?”
It happens to even the best writers. And we’ll prove it: On May 23, the Writers Guild Foundation and Humanitas will host a selection of film and television writers who will discuss all those stories they wish they’d written. The panel will include:
Stephen Gaghan (Traffic, Syriana)
Lowell Ganz (City Slickers, Happy Days)
Nicholas Meyer (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, The Seven Per Cent Solution)
Paris Qualles (The Tuskegee Airmen, A Raisin In The Sun teleplay)
David Seidler (The King’s Speech, the upcoming The Judge)
Moderator Robin Swicord (Little Women, Memoirs of a Geisha)
Reception will begin at 6:00 pm.
Interview will begin at 7:30 pm.
This event is sponsored by Humanitas and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
