Last year, we began opening our unique and world-famous screenwriting library for one Saturday per month, and it was a huge success – many Saturdays, we received twice the number of visitors as on a normal weekday. Even though we couldn’t offer parking, the place filled up on the first Saturday of every month.
And now, we’re expanding our hours even more.
As of October 1, 2014, these are our new hours:
TUESDAY. 11am to 6pm.
WEDNESDAY. 11am to 6pm.
THURSDAY. 11am to 8pm.
FRIDAY. 11am to 6pm.
SATURDAY. 11am to 6pm.
Note that we will now be closed on Mondays, but open every Saturday. We’re also expanding our hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday by one hour, closing at 6pm instead of 5pm. Thursday’s hours will remain the same.
And while you’re at it, remember these items as well:
- Limited parking may be available in the WGA building on Saturdays, 11am to 1pm.
- Aside from the restrooms, the other parts of the WGA building will not be open to the public on Saturdays. The registration department, for instance, is still only open on weekdays.
- Our library staff is composed entirely of writing geeks and is only too happy to help you find what you need – even if you don’t know what it is! But we still have limited staff during our Saturday hours, so please be patient.
- Please check our library catalog before visiting to see if we have the script you’re interested in. If we don’t have it, contact us here and we’ll do our best to get it – or give you a good explanation of why we don’t have it.
