Do You Have Children's Books?
The Writers Guild Foundation is looking for children's books only to distribute to needy parents and children in the Los Angeles area through organizations such as Sojourn Services for Battered Women & Children, The Children's Bureau of Southern California, Prototypes (Domestic Violence Shelter), and School On Wheels.

To schedule a delivery/drop-off of your childrens books, please contact Adam Huss at 323-782-4692 or ahuss@wga.org. Pick-ups may be possible for large donations.

What We Collect
We only accept donations of children's books.

Who Benefits
We donate the collected books to needy organizations in the local community: public libraries, schools, shelters, and non-profit literacy organizations.

The Jacklyn Birthday Project
Children's books represent our greatest need, and Jacklyn, who has been donating books since her 4th birthday, inspired a new element of our book drive initiative. Other children are invited to follow in Jacklyn's footsteps, asking friends to consider the option of purchasing a new children's book in lieu of a birthday gift, to be donated to less fortunate local youth.
