Winnie
Holzman (Wicked, My So-Called Life) and Robin Schiff (Romy &
Michele's High School Reunion) host some of the most successful
and interesting writers working for film and television in this annual talk-show-styled
series. The series features screenings of the guests' work, followed by a
2 to 3 hour talk-show-style in-depth interview focusing on the writer's creative
process, with a refreshment intermission & free parking included
(please note that parking is not guaranteed before 6pm).

BIOS:
Winnie Holzman
Winnie Holzman was the creator of the one-hour TV drama, My So-Called
Life. Prior to creating My So-Called Life, she was
one of the writers of the groundbreaking series thirtysomething
created by Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick, with whom she worked more recently
on the series Once And Again, (starring Sela Ward.)
She is the co-author (with songwriter Stephen Schwartz) of the musical Wicked.
Holzman played a bitter divorced person in the movie Jerry Maguire
but in real life is married to character actor Paul Dooley. They have a daughter,
Savannah, with whom Winnie recently created the TV series Huge.
Robin Schiff
Robin Schiff has written, produced or directed many film and television projects
over the years. She wrote the screenplay for and executive produced the 1997
cult hit Romy And Michele's High School Reunion
starring Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino. Television highlights include the shows
Grosse Pointe and Almost Perfect.
She developed her comic voice as a member of The Groundlings improv comedy
group. Robin is currently working on a musical version of Romy And Michele's
High School Reunion. She also wrote on, and executive produced, the recent
ABC Family series 10 Things I Hate About You.
